"Be Your Own God"

From graphic novel illustration and fine art to mural and interior design, Phobik’s artwork doesn’t stick to a single style. Inspired by experiences while growing up in Hollywood, the artwork focuses on real people and original comic book illustrations coexisting within a surreal dimension, a story has begun to unfold.

Phobik's murals around the city have been archived by The Google Street Art Project. Shown in several local as well as international galleries, his last solo Exhibit was at the Gabba Gallery titled :"Figments and Particles" and most recently awarded recognition by the city of Los Angeles for his mural work and beautification projects. Aside from solo work, Phobik is currently working with Smile South Central. a non-profit community project that focuses on beautifying the streets of South Central via murals that help provide a positive communal atmosphere.
